Minic Precision Inc. specializes in custom standoffs and inserts for many different industrial applications. Internally or externally threaded inserts and standoffs are available in various shapes such as round, hex and square. Also, depending upon the application, inserts and standoffs are available in a variety of materials.
Minic Precision Inc. utilizes CNC Swiss turning, CNC milling, cold heading and CAM Swiss automatic lathing to machine inserts and standoffs to your custom specifications. CNC Swiss turning machines are computer automated to facilitate in the rapid prototyping and machining of parts. Swiss automatic screw machines use guide bushings, cutting tools and sliding headstocks that consistently machine intricate parts without any defects.
We can design threaded inserts so that they easily fit into parts of any dimension. We also can machine both solid and drilled spacers. These spacers are used for a variety of applications, such as in the positioning and installation of electrical assemblies. Standoffs can be used as spacers in electronic components as well, helping to prevent electrical shortages. All of these precision electrical fittings can be finished with a knurled surface which increases their tensile strength and resistance to torque.
Precise dimensions are achieved through the use of our Tornos Swiss Automatic Screw Machines, Tornos and Citizen Swiss CNC Turning Machines. Also, we use Statistical Process Control (SPC) throughout the manufacturing process. All custom machines parts are available in diameters ranging from 0.005 to 1.00 inches and lengths ranging from 0.005 to 10.00 inches. Other specifications include tight tolerance values of ± 0.0001 inches and surface finishes to 16 micro.
