Our Swiss automatic screw machines perform precise lathing, turning and machining of parts to any dimensions.
Bone screws resemble typical screws, but are inserted into pre-drilled holes in bones. Dental mini-screws are used in braces as orthodontic anchors. Surgical pins are used as temporary or permanent solutions to orthopedic fractures and tears. The pitch, thread and root diameter are all critical parameters for the effective operation of these medical and dental parts. They must be precisely machined in order for them to function properly.
Our products are made from materials that follow stringent quality guidelines such as 303 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, 440 stainless steel and titanium. The processes employed to machine our custom medical and dental products are CNC Swiss turning, CNC milling, cold heading and CAM Swiss automatic lathing.
Precise dimensions are achieved through the use of our Tornos Swiss Automatic Screw Machines, Tornos and Citizen Swiss CNC Turning Machines. Also, we use Statistical Process Control (SPC) throughout the manufacturing process. All custom machines parts are available in diameters ranging from 0.005 to 1.00 inches and lengths ranging from 0.005 to 10.00 inches. Other specifications include tight tolerance values of ± 0.0001 inches and surface finishes to 16 micro.
